Safeguarding
We take the safety and protection of our children, young people and adults at risk as a high priority at ABC.
Everyone who works with children, young people and adults at risk at ABC must hold a current DBS disclosure (formerly a CRB certificate), as well as follow our Safeguarding Policy and Procedures.
Our Safeguarding Policy and Procedures conform to current government and Baptist Union of Great Britain recommendations:

- Advise the church on any matters relating to the safeguarding of children and adults at risk.
- Take the appropriate action when abuse is disclosed, discovered or suspected.

The Safeguarding Trustees will:

- Oversee and monitor the implementation of the policy and procedures on behalf of the church’s charity trustees.
